The prelims examination hall tickets have been released by the JPSC commission. Earlier commission had invited the online applications from candidates to fill the 51 vacant posts in various state govt. departments. Now as prior to the Preliminary examination the candidates who filled their applications against these recruited posts are shortly be able to download their examination admit cards 2016.

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission has finalized pre-process before the Prelims examination, in concern with the examination, test dates/ admit cards are being issued. The JPSC is going to upload the examination schedule online for the Civil Services exams. All the candidates who had registered their applications for these 51 posts & are looking for JPSC 6th Civil Services Exam Date Admit Card 2016, will shortly be eligible to get their admit cardsThe concerned department is going to release the examination schedule on its main web portal soon. Candidates can have their JPSC 6th Combined Civil Services Admit Card through the official website .According to the recent news, the examination department is now ready to publish the admit cards online.

The Preliminary Examination shall consist of two compulsory papers, each of 200 marks namely,

  • Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper-I and
  • Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper-II
  • Both the question papers shall be of multiple choice, objective types
  • The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English. However, questions set to test the comprehension skill and knowledge of language and grammar shall be only in the concerned language, without providing Hindi or English translation thereof.

PAPER-I (Civil Services Aptitude Test)-  This paper will consist of 100 objective type questions, each of 2 marks, drawn from the subjects listed below. Candidates will have to answer all the questions. Time duration will be of 2 Hours Maximum

Syllabus shall comprise History, Geography, Politics, Economy, Science Technology & Jharkhand based questions.

PAPER-II (Civil Services Aptitude Test)- This paper will consist of 100 objective type questions, each of 2 marks, drawn from the subjects listed below. Candidates will have to answer all the questions. Given time duration will be of 2 Hours max.

Syllabus shall comprise of Hindi and English Comprehension Skill 15 Questions (Xth standard), Knowledge of Hindi and English Grammar, Basic Numeracy, General Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Interpersonal Skill, Decision Making and Problem Solving etc.

JPSC Combined CS 6TH (PT) Examination Cut Off 2016

The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services 6 Prelims Examination cut off marks will be decided by the commission on the behalf of Total candidates appeared & the medium of Average score, by the candidates. The cut off marks shall vary according to the categories of the applicants.

  • For General category candidates qualifying marks will be 40 percent
  • For Backward Class 1 minimum marks will be 34 %
  • For Backward Class 2 minimum required marks shall be 36.2 %
  • For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female candidates- 32 %

Preliminary examination qualified candidates will be eligible to appear in the Mains examination.
